Steve Midgett's Mokume Gane Wedding Ring Technique featured in the
April issue of Colored Stone Magazine
| The April issue of Colored Stone magazine
features a mokume gane piece of Steve's on the cover. The brooch is a combination of 18K
yellow gold, Shakudo (a traditional Japanese alloy), silver, copper and brass. The piece
is accented with a row of princess cut rubies which have been set in a modified channel
setting, using a technique which Steve developed. Steve explains the setting technique in
an interview inside. |
