| Steve was one of the first Western artists to unravel the complexities of mokume, gaining understanding of this ancient metalworking method through extensive exploration and research. His work with mokume first began in the 70's, while apprenticed to a master goldsmith. Since 1989 Steve has dedicated his career to the mastery of this technique and has gone on to pioneer innovative improvements to the process. |
