Orbit brooch in titanium and
tantalum accented with 22k gold and
a .35 carat diamond.
This piece is one of the few examples of platinum/shakudo mokume in existence, a combination of unusual metals which has been pioneered by Steve. "Shield Series" Pin/Pendant includes platinum, shakudo, 22K gold and 2.73 carat trillion cut tourmaline. Height 3 1/2", width 3/4", depth 1/4".
One of the few larger pieces that Steve has created in mokume, it illustrates the fine control that can be achieved in the patterning process. "Snake Vase" Sterling silver, shakudo, nickel silver, and copper. Height 3 1/2", Width 5 1/2", Depth 5 1/2".
