| For our Lapidary Journal readers, Earthshine is
offering sterling silver and copper mokume rod especially suited for the bangle bracelet
project by Steve Midgett in the March issue. The 6mm square rods are sold in 6 1/2
inch pieces and contain 22 alternating layers of sterling and copper. The rods
are rolled with radius corners to minimize corner cracks from twisting and utilize very
high quality welds between the layers. Each rod is enough material to make two
bracelets, or one bracelet and three rings. This material will be available soon for
a limited time only, at a cost of $94 per piece.
